Hello my name is Amanda Hubbert and have been in childcare for 22 years. I live in Worthing, West Sussex and I am Ofsted registered.
I provide a warm, stable and friendly environment for all children I am a member of PACEY.
In December 2018 I had my third Ofsted inspection and was rated OUTSTANDING in all areas.
I am also accredited, which means I am able to claim up to 30 hours a week of government funding, for 3-4 year olds and the special funding available for eligible 2 year olds.
I am committed to working closely with all parents/carers to ensure that the principles of safeguarding children are met at all times, I am keen to involve parents with the activities that are carried out in my setting.
During the day some of the following activities will take place:- cooking, painting, sticking, playdough, music and movement and free play. I live close to the town centre and hospital, and only 400 metres from the beach, so I make frequent visits there with the children plus the main library and museum. I also make use of the play areas in the local parks, which are only a short walk away. During term time I take the children to many of the drop-ins that take place. During the school holidays I visit all types of venue's and we have lots of picnics.
I live in a four bedroom house, with my husband, 9 year old daughter and our dog Ruby. The garden has been converted into an all weather playground which enables the children to play outside all year round.
I cover Chesswood Junior School, Lyndhurst Infant School. I will take the children to school and collect them in the afternoon.
I am also able to pick up children from their home, if transport is a problem and return them in the evening if required. There is no charge for this service.
I currently care for children aged between 5 months and 10 years.
Several of my parents have reviewed my setting and these reviews can be seen on my page at childcare.co.uk
I hold the following qualifications:-
CACHE level 3 Diploma in Home Based Childcare:
NVQ level 3 Early Years Care and Education:
Trained in child protection:

Foundation degree in education and learning level 4.
In 2012 i attended a two day course on including all children which dealt with giving care to children with special educational needs and a one day course on safegaurding children, run by West Sussex County Council.

Myself and my assistants have all had Enhanced CRB checks carried out.
